Article IX

Amendments

These bylaws may be amended at any congregational meeting of the church, provided such amendments do not infringe on the doctrinal principles of the church, as determined by the Board of Elders and the Pastor, or on any section of these bylaws designated as not subject to amendment. Any proposed amendments must be approved by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the Council, and then announced and posted at least two (2) weeks prior to the congregational meeting. Congregational approval must be by a two-thirds (2/3) vote in order for the proposed amendments to take effect.
