Vision Statement

  • OUR VISION in the next five to ten years is to see God develop us into a thriving church body where all the individual members are moving toward God’s goal of being mature, reproducing Disciples of Christ. (Matt 28:18-20; 2 Tim 2:2; Eph 4:15)
  • We dream of an intentional process to develop mature believers (discipleship) and to help them reach out to lost people (evangelism).
  • We dream of intentional training and equipping of godly leaders who can serve throughout the body in a limited number of capacities where they are able to devote adequate attention to each task while being fulfilled and affirmed.
  • We dream of all our people becoming involved in small groups [youth ministry and children’s ministry (age appropriate)] meeting regularly for personal support, encouragement and growth.
  • We dream of a thriving, growing youth ministry, including effective outreach to the community.
  • We dream of the Lord saving many people and adding to the church those who are growing and excited about knowing God more deeply as we carry out the Great Commission in our community.
  • We dream of all members being personally involved in evangelism, discipleship and small groups which may require calling a person on staff to provide on-going leadership, training and support in these areas.
  • We dream of a vibrant children’s ministry where children are taught the Love of God.
  • We dream of our missions program being a vital ministry of our church through which we extend the hope of the Gospel and the love of Christ to others around our nation and the world endeavoring to send those called from our church as well as other missionaries.
