The college years and the years following can be a tough time for young people trying to find their way in the world and make their parents’ faith one of their own. The Young Adult Ministry addresses those issues in a variety of ways. It is our sincere desire to provide young adults with a place where they can connect with other young adults and the church as a whole.
Young Adult Bible Study
The Young Adult group meets two Sunday nights per month, typically for supper and Bible study together in a leader’s home. They also hold several service project days and fellowship events throughout the year, and are encouraged to participate in churchwide events as well.
Sunday School
This is an energetic, discussion-based class in which relevant topics to daily Christian life are discussed and Scriptural applications are made.
Prayer Partners
Each year we facilitate support for our college students by asking church members to sign up as prayer partners for the students throughout the year. Support includes regular prayer for and communication with students as well as ocassional care packages to encourage them during their time away at school.
