Luke 1:26-38 - The Deity of Christ is emphasized in the angel's message to Mary. As such, she demonstrates the appropriate response with humble obedience.

Luke 1:5-25 - In this passage, we see that God keeps His promise to His people after 400 years of silence. Our response to a faithful God is to rejoice in His promises and turn to Him.

Exodus 35-40 - In our final Exodus passage, we see that we glorify God through our rest, giving and service.

Exodus 34 - In this passage, God reinstates the covenant with Israel demonstrating His abundant grace in spite of Israel's inconstant hearts.

Exodus 33 -

Exodus 32:1-35 - In this grim account of human nature, we see the capricious heart of the nation of Israel on display- so similar to the portrait of our own fickle hearts today. Nevertheless, God's faithfulness and mercy towards His people are ever present in spite of these sinful inclinations.

Exodus 28-31 - In these passages, we see that God requires all consuming faithfulness to His commands.

Exodus 25-27 - God calls His people to sacrificial, voluntary obedience because of the benefits of being in His presence.

Exodus 23:13-24:18 - This passage clearly distinguishes the one true God from the pagan gods of the nations surrounding Israel. We see that our God cannot be manipulated by our obedience, but instead our obedience to his Law is motivated by gratitude for who He is and what He has promised us.

Exodus 21:1 - 23:13 - If God treated us according to the rules of Mosaic Law, none of us could stand. It therefore helps us understand how Christ was the fulfillment of the Law.
